Stake Availability in Italy: Stake.com vs Stake.it

By BookmakerLens editorial team · Research updated 21 September 2026

The answer depends on the domain. Stake.com lists Italy as a prohibited jurisdiction. Separately, Italy’s ADM register lists Stake Italy S.r.l. with the domain www.stake.it and concession number 16017.

This is why a blanket statement that “Stake is unavailable in Italy” is incomplete. It also would be wrong to use the Italian entry as permission to access the international .com service.

What each source establishes

  • Stake.com: the international terms, section 14.3, include Italy among prohibited jurisdictions and describe restrictions applying to people located there, including visitors.
  • Stake.it: the ADM concessionaire list identifies Stake Italy S.r.l., www.stake.it and concession 16017.

The second entry verifies an Italian concessionaire and listed domain. It does not transfer the international account terms, product catalogue, bonus offers or payment methods to that service. We have not opened or funded a Stake.it account, and this article is not a hands-on review of its features.

How to check the Italian service

  1. Open the official ADM list and search for the operator or concession number.
  2. Match the displayed website exactly, including the .it ending.
  3. Read the local account agreement and confirm which company is the contracting party.
  4. Check eligibility, identity requirements, available products, payment charges and withdrawal terms on that local service.

Keep a dated record of what you checked. Similar logos and shared branding are less useful than an exact match between the regulator’s record and the legal notice on the service.

Can a Stake.com account be used while visiting Italy?

The international terms apply their location restriction even to visitors from other countries. Do not assume that an account created elsewhere remains eligible while you are in Italy. If you already have an account or a balance, contact the operator for account-specific instructions before travelling or attempting transactions.

Do Stake.com promotions apply to Stake.it?

We have not verified that they do. Treat a promotion as tied to the exact site and terms that publish it. Before comparing an offer, check the eligible country, deposit requirement, qualifying bets, expiry, wagering calculation and cash-out conditions. A shared brand name is not evidence of shared promotion eligibility.

Can a VPN resolve the restriction?

Stake.com’s terms prohibit attempts to circumvent jurisdiction restrictions. A VPN does not alter the Italian concession record or make the .com service the same as the .it one.

Questions about this check

Did BookmakerLens test deposits or withdrawals on Stake.it?

No. The Italian finding is based on ADM’s listed concessionaire and domain, not a funded account test.

Does the Italian licence make Stake.com available?

No. The evidence concerns different domains and contracts; the international terms still name Italy as prohibited.
